Welcome to Quiz: Arcane Which Character Are You

About “Arcane” in a few words:

“Arcane” is a visually stunning animated series created by Riot Games and Netflix that takes place in the immersive universe of “League of Legends.” The series is set in the cities of Piltover and Zaun, where two sisters, Jinx and Vi, find themselves on opposite sides of a brewing conflict between the ruling elite and the working class. The show boasts compelling characters, intricate plotlines, and breathtaking action sequences that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Meet the characters from Arcane

Vi

Okay, Vi is basically the punchline that turns into the punch — big-hearted brawler who will sock a man and then worry about his lunch, like, immediately. She’s protective to the point of being stubbornly blind sometimes, a scrappy leader who smells like engine oil and old bandages and probably hums some terrible work song when she’s nervous. There’s this soft, almost embarrassed tenderness under all the fists — she’ll admit to being scared in the weirdest, gruff way — and also a tiny tendency to forget polite things like names (oops). Honestly, she’s equal parts punk sister and reluctant hero, and you kind of want to hug and/or high-five her at the same time.

Jayce

Jayce is the starry-eyed tinkerer who tacked a lightning bolt onto civilization and then realized diplomacy is way messier than blueprints. He’s bright, ambitious, slightly gag-worthy when he gets idealistic, and also the kind of guy who alphabetizes his spare gears — but he can also be a little self-important, not gonna lie. There’s a real earnestness in him, like he truly believes invention can be a moral compass, and yet he’s juggling ego, responsibility, and this weird need to be loved by the city. He talks big, moves fast, and probably drinks tea too strong for his own good.

Silco

Silco is deliciously dangerous and somehow paternal at the same time — like, a revolutionary who smells faintly of smoke and bad decisions but will tuck you in if you cry. He’s patient in a way that makes you nervous; every soft sentence might be bait, and every kindness might be a plan, but he genuinely cradles this weird protector vibe for Zaun (and for certain people, okay). He loves control, chess moves, steady eyes, and could recite poetry at your funeral and still look like the villain on the label. Also, he definitely has a favorite marble or glass thing he keeps on his desk, which is kind of adorable and terrifying simultaneously.

Viktor

Viktor is the quietly obsessive scientist who slowly becomes a walking moral question mark — the kind of guy who sacrifices a lot for “progress” and mutters about ethics while soldering someone’s arm. He’s sincere, painfully earnest, and a little awkward socially, but don’t mistake that for weakness; his convictions run deep and can get scary focused. There’s a softness to him, too — he cares for people, he really, really does — but he’s also the blueprint-forged type who will keep tinkering even when the whole room’s on fire. He probably loves tiny labels on his vials and also sings under his breath when alone, which is adorable and tragic.

Mel Medarda

Mel is the political spider; silk-smooth, dazzlingly composed, and somehow always two steps ahead in a dress that could cut glass. She’s elegant, manipulative in the best possible way, and genuinely fascinated by the way power dresses itself up — art, alliances, and the little lies that make a city run. She can be warm in a deliberately cultivated manner and then cold as a ledger the next second, so you never quite know which Mel you’re getting, which is the point. Also, tiny useless detail: she probably collects maps and has opinions about toast, because of course she does.

Vander

Vander is the weary hometown king — ex-fighter, protective dad-figure, and a man who gives the best hugs but will also fight you into tomorrow if he thinks it’s for the people. He has this whole tragic weight to him, like someone who carries an enormous secret and uses his calm voice to bury it, except he’s also a little gruff and loves a terrible joke now and then. He hates violence in theory but will do what’s necessary, and that contradiction is the whole point; he’s kind, stubborn, guilt-ridden, and tired in the most human way. Also, he definitely has a special mug for tea that he never lets anyone else touch, for reasons that might be sentimental or petty.

Marcus

Marcus is the steady kind of presence you didn’t know you needed until he’s bailing you out at 2 a.m.; practical, loyal, and maybe a little suspicious of speeches. He’s the sort of guy who’ll fix your weapon without charging you and will listen to a really long rant about nothing with genuine attention. He’s not flashy and that’s his charm — solid, reliable, quietly moral, though sometimes he can be unexpectedly reckless when friends are threatened. Oh and he probably keeps chewing gum like it’s a nervous tic, which is weirdly endearing.

Hoskel

Hoskel is the burly, silent type who looks like he was carved out of an anvil and then given a soft spot by accident. He’s muscle with a memory — remembers faces, grudges, bar tabs, and maybe the names of people who died in bar fights, which is morbid but true. He’s quiet in a crowd and terrifying in a doorway, yet he’ll also tell a dumb joke at the worst possible moment and crack himself up, which undermines the whole intimidating vibe. There’s a loyalty to him that feels almost sacred, and he somehow collects bottle caps? Maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t.

Sevika

Sevika is sheer efficiency and menace wrapped in a leather coat — strategic, fierce, and not here for nonsense, which makes her endlessly effective and slightly terrifying at parties. She’s loyal to a cause (and to people she respects) but has this razor-sharp realism that cuts through idealism like butter, so diplomacy isn’t really her thing unless it serves a purpose. There’s a brutal kindness to her — she’s pragmatic, won’t sugarcoat, and will pick up a gun without batting an eye, but she also values discipline and has weird little rituals before fights. Also, fun fact? She might hum while sharpening blades, which is both soothing and awful.

Caitlyn

Caitlyn is the polite, brilliant law-keeper who wears her moral code like armor and also a very stylish hat, which I will defend as iconic. She’s cool-headed, meticulous, and has an actually terrifying aim, but she’s also compassionate in a way that makes her investigative instincts feel like a kindness. She’s the kind of person who notices details other people miss and quietly keeps an eye on the little injustices that stack up, so she becomes both a detective and a reluctant revolutionary of manners. Side-note: she probably has a bad habit of tapping her pen when she’s thinking, and it’s adorable if you ignore the gun.

Jinx

Jinx is pure chaos in glittering, terrifying form — a manic spark plug who will blow up a plan and then write a pop song about it, sometimes literally. She’s wildly inventive with explosives, heartbreakingly unstable, and childlike in the worst and most tragic ways; one minute she’s giggling at confetti, the next she’s wrecking everything to feel something. There’s a twisted tenderness underneath the madness — she craves connection and loves intensely, but she also self-sabotages like it’s an art. Also, she keeps little trinkets from every explosion, and yes, some of them are unnervingly adorable.
