Quizkie operates a website that provides multilingual personality and trivia quizzes. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used when you visit Quizkie, take a quiz, contact us, or interact with advertising and analytics on the site.
Information we use
When you browse the site, normal technical information may be processed, such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and the time of access. This information is used to operate, secure, measure, and improve the site.
Google Analytics 4
If Google Analytics 4 is enabled for Quizkie, it may be used to understand site and quiz usage. The production configuration and applicable consent requirements must be confirmed before activation.
Google AdSense and advertising
If Google AdSense or related advertising features are enabled for Quizkie, Google and its partners may process advertising cookies and related information. The production configuration and regional choices must be confirmed before activation.
Consent and cookies
Cookies may be used for analytics, advertising, security, language preferences, and site functionality. Where consent is required, the production consent mechanism must be confirmed before the relevant service is enabled. Browser settings can also be used to control cookies.
Quiz progress
When you take a quiz, Quizkie uses an HttpOnly cookie named qf_progress to keep the current quiz state, such as the quiz, step, selected answers, result state, and expiry time. It normally expires after approximately two hours and is signed to prevent tampering. Quiz progress is not stored as a separate user record in the WordPress database.
Contact form
The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. If you submit it, these details are sent by email to the site administrator through the configured email service, with your email used as the reply address. Contact form submissions are not stored as submissions in WordPress.
Security and anti-spam controls
Quizkie uses nonces, a hidden anti-spam field, timing checks, link checks, and rate limits. For contact-form and login protection, a one-way hash or HMAC-derived key based on the request IP address may be stored temporarily in a WordPress transient. These temporary values are used only to limit abuse and protect the site; Quizkie does not use them to build a visitor profile.
Accounts, registration, and comments
Quizkie does not offer public registration or user accounts for ordinary visitors, and public visitors cannot post comments. Quiz participation does not require an account.
Third-party services
Other than the Google services described above and the configured email delivery service used for contact messages, Quizkie does not intentionally add third-party frontend tracking or advertising services. External sites linked from Quizkie may have their own privacy practices, which are outside our control.
Data retention and security
Temporary quiz cookies and anti-abuse transients expire automatically. Contact messages are handled through email and are not retained as WordPress form submissions. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, but reasonable technical measures are used to protect the site and its data.
Children
Quizkie is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the site, services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
Quiz telemetry and Related Quizzes
Selected Pikhtin quizzes may send technical telemetry about question interactions to measure and improve the experience. The exact production retention period must be confirmed. Quizkie may also show automatically selected Related Quizzes using internal quiz data and links generated by WordPress.
