Welcome to Quiz: Which 'Mashle' Character Are You

About “Mashle” in a few words:

Mashle: Magic and Muscles, an anime series adaptation by A-1 Pictures, brings us into a world where magic dictates societal rank. Despite this, Mash Burnedead, devoid of any magical ability, seeks acceptance in this mystical realm. Through sheer willpower and unrivaled physical strength, he enrolls in Easton Magic Academy, aiming to become a Divine Visionary, challenging the age-old belief that magic reigns supreme.

Meet the characters from Mashle

Mash Burnedead

Mash is this absurdly strong, no-magic prodigy who honestly just wants to be normal but keeps clobbering problems instead, which is hilarious. He’s soft-spoken and awkward in the best way — like a gentle giant who apologizes to a broken tree — and simultaneously stubborn as a boulder. He’s somehow both clueless about social cues and deeply perceptive about what really matters, which makes him the kind of hero you root for while grinning like an idiot. Oh and he eats way too many pancakes? Or is it eggs? Either way, he always has something messy in his pocket.

Finn Ames

Finn is pompous in a tuxedo sort of way — polished, ruthless, and convinced of his own perfection, but secretly the kind of guy who polishes his shoes at 2 a.m. when he’s stressed. He’s strategic and sharp, a top-tier magic user with a caustic wit, and he loves control more than breathing, which makes every tiny loss feel catastrophic to him. Underneath that veneer there’s actually loyalty (once you earn it) and weird little hobbies like alphabetizing his spell scrolls or collecting tiny spoons, don’t ask. He’s the rival you love to hate but would also watch cry over a ruined plan, I swear.

Lance Crown

Lance is dramatic, flashy, and obsessed with being the center of attention — capes, poses, and a laugh that probably echoes — but also kind of pure? Like he’ll monologue mid-battle and then help a crying kid find their cat, which is peak messy hero energy. He fights with style and a theatrical flair, but underneath all the preening there’s actual bravery and this weirdly dependable streak that sneaks up on you. He cares about image and also fiercely defends his friends, which is endearing and slightly ridiculous. Also, mandatory to mention: his hair has its own fan club.

Dot Barrett

Dot is the big lovable wrecking ball of the gang — loud, affectionate, and the person you want at your barbecue and your bar fight, simultaneously. She’s goofy as hell, eats like a championship competitor (donuts, probably), and somehow manages to be shockingly wise in five words flat. She’ll laugh in battle, hug you afterwards, and enforce rules when everyone’s being idiots, which makes her both chaos and order in one huge sweater. Sometimes she’s oddly sentimental about tiny things like matchbox cars or spoons, I can’t explain it, she just is.

Lemon Irvine

Lemon is cold, exacting, and terrifyingly competent — think stoic aristocrat who also enjoys very precise cruelty in training sessions. She’s elegant and distant, but there are cracks where she’s almost poetic; she’ll write a few lines of something dark and then crush your spine, hypothetically. She takes fairness and discipline very seriously and will glare at you until you apologize for existing if you slack, yet once in a blue moon she’ll rescue a stray animal or secretly water plants at midnight. Also, her expressions are suspiciously subtle for someone who punches like a cannon.
