About “Bee and Puppycat” in a few words:
“Bee and Puppycat” is an animated web series that beautifully merges elements of science fiction and fantasy. The story follows Bee, an unemployed woman, and Puppycat, a mysterious creature that’s a blend of a cat and a dog. Together, they embark on intergalactic temp jobs, navigating the challenges of life and work, all while unraveling Puppycat’s mysterious past and Bee’s own destiny.
Meet the characters from Bee and Puppycat
Bee
Okay, Bee is basically a human tornado with a heart of marshmallow — chaotic, dreamy, and forever getting herself into temp-job-sized messes. She’s the protagonist who is lovable and messy and also surprisingly stubborn when it comes to snacks and dignity, and yes she cries at plants sometimes (don’t judge). She’s impulsive, naive in the best possible way, and somehow brilliant at stumbling into solutions while half-asleep; also she hoards teacups and forgets rent. Oh and she’s fiercely loyal even when she’s accidentally turned a spaceship into a smoothie maker — which, to be fair, happened only once?
Puppycat
Puppycat is the grumpy, adorable cryptid who looks like a dog, acts like a cat, and probably has a few cosmic secrets filed under “misc.” He is the low-key guardian/partner who gives zero nonsense and thirty percent sass, but of course he’s secretly a softie (don’t tell him I said that). Mysterious past, mysterious temper, mysterious appetite — naps, scowls, and the occasional world-saving sigh, in that order. Also he speaks in this weird clipped way and sometimes eats things he definitely shouldn’t, like paperwork or tiny galaxies — fine, maybe not galaxies, but you get the vibe.
Deckard
Deckard pops in like a scratched record full of swagger and served cold — smooth, dangerous, and a little too fond of dramatic entrances. He’s a bounty hunter/pirate-ish type who is charming in the “I’ll-roast-you-but-I’ll-also-save-you” sense and yeah, he flirts like it’s a sport. Behind the smirk there’s a sketchy history and weirdly tender moments that never quite line up (is he a softie? is he an ex-thief? both?), which is half the fun. Also he collects keys for reasons he refuses to explain and wears a jacket that definitely has secrets in the pockets.
Cass
Cass is the “keep-your-life-together” friend you want to text at 3 AM — calm, practical, and secretly smuggling kindness in every steady sentence. She grounds the chaos with a look that says “breathe” and a drawer full of emergency snacks that may or may not be gourmet crackers. She’s sensible, responsible, and unbelievably patient, except when she’s not, because she also has a small, scandalous fondness for midnight karaoke and reckless optimism. Role-wise she’s the quiet backbone of the crew — reliable, slightly exasperated, and suspiciously fond of doodling tiny space ships on receipts.
