Welcome to Quiz: Lupin the 3rd Which Character Are You

About “Lupin the 3rd” in a few words:

Lupin the 3rd is a long-running Japanese anime series that follows the adventures of a group of master thieves, led by the charismatic and elusive Arsène Lupin III. Lupin and his team travel the world in search of their next heist, often pursued by the determined Inspector Zenigata. Along the way, they encounter various allies and enemies, and use their unique skills and gadgets to pull off daring robberies while evading capture. The series is known for its witty humor, thrilling action, and iconic characters.

Meet the characters from Lupin the 3rd

Kouichi Zenigata

Zenigata is the relentless inspector who lives for the chase — like, it’s literally his whole thing, obsession turned job turned lifestyle. He’s absurdly by-the-book one moment and then will trip over his own feet while trying to deliver a dramatic arrest scene the next, which I love. He’s fiercely loyal to justice (and to the idea of catching Lupin) but also kind of…soft? He’ll scowl and shout and then bring tea to a stakeout, true story.

Arsene Lupin III

Lupin is the flashy, cheeky master thief who makes stealing look like performance art — tuxedo, grin, impossible plan, repeat. Charming and infuriating, he’s equal parts genius planner and reckless gambler who’ll steal your heart and then your watch (and maybe return it with a note). He adores the thrill, cherishes cleverness, and somehow has weird little sentimental rules (don’t ask why he keeps a napkin from one heist — he just does). Oh, and he’s supposedly the grandson of that legendary Arsène Lupin, which he brags about and undercuts in the same conversation.

Goemon Ishikawa XIII

Goemon is the stoic, sword-wielding samurai archetype with the most deadpan aura ever — precise, silent, and terrifyingly effective with his blade. He’s all discipline and honor, but also there are moments where he’ll freeze like he forgot what modern appliances are, or he’ll act like a grumpy old man who secretly loves cute things (don’t tell him I said that). His sword, Zantetsuken, is basically the “I cut everything” card and he uses it with scary calmness. Loyal in a weird honorable-samurai-way, but please don’t try to make him chat about feelings unless you have tea and three hours.

Fujiko Mine

Fujiko is the absolutely irresistible femme fatale who could steal your jewels, your secrets, and your dignity — often in that order — and still walk away looking fabulous. She’s brilliant, manipulative, and shockingly complicated: selfish for survival, but capable of real, confusing tenderness sometimes (and then she’ll betray you again so, uh, trust issues?). Fashion-forward with an apparent collection of disguises and lipstick that doubles as thirty tools, she’s basically espionage couture. She plays everyone like chess and you kind of admire her for it, even as you roll your eyes.

Daisuke Jigen

Jigen is the world-weary sharpshooter with a permanent five o’clock shadow and an implacable fedora — cool, terse, and unfailingly reliable when the bullets start flying. He’s the “I don’t show feelings” type who actually has a ridiculous loyalty to Lupin (and an allergy to nonsense), plus a dry one-liner arsenal that lands every time. He drinks coffee like it’s a lifeblood and smokes like a character in an old noir, but don’t mistake the gruff act: he’s got a good heart under that stubble. Oh, and his gun skills are basically unfair, like he can hit a flea on a flea from a moving car and still be late for dinner.
