Meet the characters from Super Cub
Shii Eniwa
Shii is the soft-spoken heart of the story — quietly observant, a little awkward, and somehow endlessly sincere. She’s the kind of person who notices little things (like the exact way a bike seat creaks or the pattern of birds on a wire) and hoards them in her head like treasures — also, she definitely keeps a secret stash of instant noodles, honest, I saw it once? She’s shy but not fragile; getting on that Super Cub opens up this stubborn, gentle independence that sneaks up on everyone. Also she smiles like she’s hiding a joke, which she probably is, even if she’d never tell you.
Reiko
Reiko gives off “practical big-sister who’s also low-key dramatic” energy and I love that — organized, reliable, but also she has these weird little flights of moodiness that make her human. She’s the sort to map out routes, check tire pressure, hand you a flashlight at midnight, and then complain about your helmet pattern like it’s a real offense. Caring but kind of blunt, she helps people grow by saying the blunt truth wrapped in slightly sarcastic warmth (and yes, sometimes she over-explains things but in a good way). Also she probably has a ridiculous number of pens in her bag and uses them all — color-coding for feelings, maybe.
Koguma
Koguma is pure sunshine on two wheels — loud, laugh-out-loud cheerful, slightly impulsive, and forever hungry (snacks are her religion). She’s the one who’ll drag you into an adventure at dawn, then forget where she parked the bike and make it a game, and somehow it’s the best day ever; flip-flopping between hyper-focused on engines and wildly abstract philosophies about pudding. Fiercely loyal, a bit dramatic, and absolutely terrible at being calm, she’s also weirdly thoughtful in tiny gestures (like giving you a lucky charm keychain she swore she would never give away). Oh, and she collects stickers — no, really, everywhere — even on her helmet, which she insists is practical and fashionable at the same time.
