Meet the characters from Beyblade
Tyson Granger
Tyson is the chaotic heart of the team — loud, stubborn, and impossible not to root for. He charges into battles with that ridiculous grin and zero hesitation (also zero planning, usually), which is somehow also his superpower. He’s loyal to an annoying degree, loves his friends like family, and will argue with fate itself if it inconveniences him. Oh, and he hoards stickers and probably loses his keys five times a day but never loses his Bey — classic.
Kenny
Kenny is the quiet brainiac who somehow runs the whole operation from behind a laptop and a scarf that he never takes off. He’s clever, kind of awkward, brilliant about tech and strategy, and totally calm even when things are exploding around him — which is both terrifying and comforting. He’ll make you a spreadsheet for your feelings and then blush if you call him heroic. Tiny weird detail: he loves that one cheesy sci-fi show and will defend it like it’s a manifesto.
Max Tate
Max is sunshine in a human body — optimistic, goofy, surfer vibes 24/7 but also annoyingly perceptive when it matters. He’s the team cheerleader and the guy who brings snacks and emotional support (and sometimes literal cookies), but he can also be quietly serious and shock you with a perfect plan. Loves animals, speaks in gentle metaphors, and occasionally gets melodramatic about sunsets for reasons he can’t explain. Also probably cries at commercials.
Ray
Ray is the sensible, steady anchor — methodical, principled, and kind of a rule-lover, but don’t mistake that for boring. He cares deeply, has a surprising dry humor if you catch it, and will quietly school anyone who underestimates him. He’s the strategist who thinks three moves ahead and then apologizes for being intense. Fun contradiction: he claims not to like candy but will absolutely steal one from your pocket.
Kai
Kai is the intense loner with a sword-like stare and a hidden soft center that leaks at inconvenient moments. He’s disciplined, proud, and kind of terrifying in battle, but also weirdly sentimental about, like, tiny plants or family scars (don’t ask — he’ll get embarrassed). He acts like he doesn’t care what anyone thinks but secretly keeps a folder of awkward fan art (maybe). Hot-tempered, honorable, and impossible to ignore.
Dizzi
Dizzi is this tiny, hyper ball of mischief who somehow has more attitude than twice his size should legally possess. He’s wild, unpredictable, and often speaks before his brain catches up, which is both hilarious and kind of effective in combat. He adores animals (especially weird ones), collects snacks like trophies, and alternates between brave and terrified in five-second intervals. Also, he swears he once befriended a raccoon that became part of the team — plausible? maybe.
Hilary
Hilary is the sweetheart with a surprisingly sharp backbone — sweet, patient, and annoyingly good at keeping everyone from falling apart. She’s supportive to a fault, fiercely loyal, and has a spidey-sense for when people need a pep talk (or a reality check). Fashionable, musical, and probably the only one who can calm Tyson with a glare and a smile at the same time. Little quirk: she collects postcards for reasons she can’t fully explain and insists each one tells a story.
Dunga
Dunga is the gentle giant trope personified — massive, soft-spoken, and has the kind of laugh that makes everything feel safer. He’s kind of slow but in the best way: thoughtful, unhurried, and unexpectedly wise when it counts (and terrifyingly powerful in a Bey fight). Loves food, naps, and zen poetry, and will compliment your sandwich like it’s art. Contradiction: he’s a bit clumsy with fragile things but will cradle a tiny bird like it’s the most precious thing in the world.
