Welcome to Quiz: Which 'Plunderer' Character Are You

About “Plunderer” in a few words:

Plunderer is a Japanese anime series that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where every individual is assigned a numerical value that determines their worth as a person. The story follows a young man named Licht Bach, who is on a mission to find and gather legendary artifacts known as “Aces” to fulfill a promise he made to a mysterious girl named Hina. Along the way, Licht and Hina encounter various characters, each with their unique skills and personalities, as they uncover the truth behind the world they live in.

Meet the characters from Plunderer

Licht Bach

Okay, Licht is the tragic torchbearer you can’t help but root for — stubborn, idealistic, and somehow always on the wrong end of fate. He carries this intense self-sacrificing vibe but also has this goofy grin sometimes, like he just remembered a bad joke (or maybe that was a flashback?). He’s a leader in the messy, winged-hero way, full of grand speeches and desperate plans that somehow almost work. Also he hums when he’s nervous? I swear he does, but maybe I made that up — fits him though.

Hina Farrow

Hina is a bright storm in a tiny package, sweet and fierce at once — like someone who bakes cookies and then punches a hole in the sky. She’s loyal to the bone, annoyingly optimistic, and also secretly holds so much sadness that she could wallpaper a room with it. She’s the kind of person who apologizes for being alive but also would cheerlead you off a cliff if you needed it (metaphorically, maybe literally). Oh and she collects little trinkets from every place she visits, so expect a jangly pocket full of memories.

Lynn May

Lynn is a ball of energy who hits like a truck and smiles while doing it, pure adrenaline and friendship glue. She’s straightforward to a fault, says what she thinks in the loudest possible voice, and somehow is also ridiculously caring (she’ll slap you and then bandage you). Her optimism is borderline delusional sometimes, but in a good way — she believes in people. Occasionally she’s a little too competitive about everything, even about who can sleep the least, which is probably a lie.

Pele Poporo

Pele is sunshine and chaos, like a hurricane wearing a flower crown — dramatic, flamboyant, and impossible to ignore. He acts like life is a stage and everyone else is background music, but beneath the sequins there are sharp instincts and a protective streak. He’ll flirt with danger and flirt with you, sometimes both at the same time, and his schemes are oddly elegant. Also he keeps a ridiculous number of scarves for reasons that make sense only to him (fashion or ritual? both).

Jail Murdoch

Jail is the steady, slightly terrifying rock who makes you feel safe unless he decides you’re suspicious, in which case run. He’s blunt, strategic, and has that whole lone-wolf energy but secretly cares about tiny details no one else notices (like the exact timing of a sunrise). He’s surprisingly sentimental about certain things — like an old photograph he never shows anyone — which softens the whole intimidating persona. Occasionally he’ll smile at a bad pun and then act like it was intentional.

Nana Bassler

Nana is the legend with salt in her laugh and a map of scars that tell better stories than she will. Gruff, practical, and endlessly resourceful, she’s the kind of mentor who cooks you soup and curses at you in the same breath. She remembers every favor you ever did and every mistake too, never forgetting but also never holding grudges in the way that matters. Also she has this weird obsession with tiny tins — like she hoards them? I don’t know, she collects tin lids, maybe for future plans or old habits.

Mizuka Sonohara

Mizuka is quiet like a library but with steel hidden in the shelves — reserved, observant, and quietly uncompromising. She rarely speaks unless it matters, which makes every word land like a stone, and she has a soft spot she won’t admit even to herself. There’s this odd tenderness to her interactions (protective, low-key), but she’s also ruthless when pushed; contradictory but in a believable, human way. She whistles old lullabies when she’s thinking, or was it humming? Either way, it’s creepily calming.

Alexandrov Grigorovich

Alexandrov is this grand, militaristic presence — formal, almost ceremonious, but with a weirdly dry sense of humor hidden under the medals. He’s the strategist who treats chaos like a chessboard and you’re just one of many pawns he’s affectionately named. He can be infuriatingly principled to the point of stubbornness, yet he’ll break his own rules for a person he cares about (surprising, right?). He collects stamps or rare coins or something old-world like that — classy hoarder energy.

Schmerman Bach

Schmerman is the moody genius type who’s as reliable as a thunderstorm — broody, brilliant, and possibly allergic to small talk. He’s got this melancholy charisma and you can feel the weight of his past even when he’s just standing there not doing much. He’s stubbornly ethical in his own weird code, and also sings under his breath at inconvenient times (bad pop songs, somehow). Also he’s surprisingly into baking? Not sure if that’s true but I want it to be.

Firenda

Firenda is the whimsical wildcard, part dreamer, part schemer, and impossible to read which is half the charm. She’s got this mix of mischief and genuine kindness that makes you forgive her the moment she pulls the rug out from under you — then helps you up. She keeps odd little rituals (tea at dawn, spinning coins), which may or may not be superstitions; either way they’re adorable. Also, she’s way better at lying than she looks, but only when she needs to be — extremely chaotic-neutral in the best way.
