Meet the characters from Captain Fall

Captain Jonathan Fall

Okay, Captain Jonathan Fall — the guy who looks like he was carved out of midnight and old maps, but also has a ridiculous collection of novelty socks (no really, someone once described them as “strategically chaotic”). He’s the stubborn, charismatic leader who’d give a speech in the rain and somehow make you volunteer for the worst job — but also will linger over the smallest moral question like it’s the last cup of tea in the world. He’s haunted, sure, and low-key dramatic (will absolutely stare into the distance for a full minute when a plot point hits), yet somehow also the person who remembers everyone’s birthdays, which is both adorable and terrifying. Basically, he’s the steady center you trust in a crisis, even if he talks to houseplants when stressed.

Agent Steel

Agent Steel is the chill, precise agent who moves like a blade — efficient, icy, the sort of person who wears two watches for reasons that may or may not be tactical. She’s ruthless on the case but has this weirdly tender side for classical music and tiny, very organized notes (handwriting suspiciously neat for a person who once dismantled a car in ten minutes). People call her cold but she has little private rituals, like polishing her pens at midnight, which is both creepy and oddly sweet. There’s a small rumor she cries at the end of old spy movies; could be true, could be a smear, but it fits.

Liza

Liza is the spark plug — fast-talking, brilliant, and forty percent sarcasm, sixty percent untested science experiments (some involving cookies, because she bakes when thinking — yes, really). She’s the tech-whiz who can jury-rig a satellite out of a toaster and a paperclip, but will also get lost in grocery stores and forget exactly how a spoon works when overwhelmed; charmingly human. Sharp as a tack with a mischievous grin, she alternates between wildly confident plans and panicked googling, which makes life with her never boring. Oh and she has this habit of doodling tiny rockets on receipts, which she swears is for “archival purposes.”

Mr. Tyrant

Mr. Tyrant is the villain who insists on dramatic entrances and also buys eco-friendly lightbulbs because he’s inexplicably into sustainable terror. He’s looming, authoritative, and loves to monologue (with excellent diction), but has a soft spot for orchids and an embarrassingly expressive teapot collection. Terrifying in a boardroom and theatrical in a hallway, he’s both mastermind and showman, occasionally pausing mid-domination to check his incognito spreadsheet. He scares people, sure, but also writes terrible limericks when nobody is watching — which somehow makes him more human, or at least more complicated.
