Gilgamesh is the unbearable golden king who treats everyone like lesser furniture — arrogant, deliciously pompous, and breathtakingly confident (and yes, he does own a chest full of world-ending bling). He’s borderline theatrical, hoards treasure like it’s oxygen, and insults you with the air of someone doing you a favor. Yet there are flashes of genuine awe when someone does something rare or clever, which he then promptly calls “interesting” and then insults you.
