Meet the characters from Spy x Family

Loid Forger

Oh gosh, Loid is the ultimate cool-headed spy dad — super precise, always three steps ahead, and somehow manages to balance world-saving plans with PTA-level diplomacy. He’s unnervingly calm in a crisis but also amazing at tiny, awkward little lies (like pretending to enjoy tea he clearly hates), which he sells with a smile that’s half charm, half clinical assessment. He cares fiercely under all that professionalism, even if he’d never call it “feelings” out loud, and he’s ridiculously good at improvising when plans go sideways. Also, he has this tiny habit of rearranging things when nervous — like, he’ll straighten books mid-interrogation? — which is both adorable and a little alarming.

Yor Forger

Yor is a delightfully terrifying mix: soft-spoken, domestic mom vibes one second and then absolutely lethal assassin energy the next, like domestic goddess meets silent death. She’s embarrassingly earnest about being a good mom and wife, and also bizarrely into tiny, delicate things like embroidery (but sometimes she pokes herself, which is weirdly relatable). She’s blushing and kind in public but completely unstoppable in the shadows, which makes her both comforting and unpredictable — kind of like a kitten with steel claws. Also, she claims to dislike violence in the same breath she’ll casually demonstrate a move that could dislocate your shoulder, so honestly, pick a lane, Yor, we love you.

Anya Forger

Anya is the absolute heart-stealer — telepathic, hyperexpressive, and tiny but ferocious about her love for snacks and cute stuff, and she thinks people’s thoughts are the funniest secret show. She’s hilariously dramatic, super into spy movies (because duh) and school scheming, and yet will melt into a puddle at the sight of a puppy or a shiny badge. She knows way more than she should, but often uses that knowledge for selfish, adorable goals like convincing adults to get her more treats, which is both genius and chaotic. Also, she claims she’s “not scared” and then clings to someone’s sleeve five seconds later — inconsistent but precious.

Damian Desmond

Damian is peak princely brat with a soft core somewhere behind the polished posture, very “I respect my family” and also “I will glare at you until you confess.” He’s proud, super competitive (especially with Anya, because that whole “rivals” thing fuels him), and he has this tragic insistence on dignity that makes him hilarious when he’s secretly embarrassed. He’ll insist on doing things the Proper Way™ and then sulk if anyone breaks form, yet he’ll also protect people in ways he won’t admit — like, very stealthily. Oh, and he fusses about his hair like it’s a national treasure, which is both vain and endearing.

Becky Blackbell

Becky is the sparkle-bomb bestie energy — rich kid vibes but totally chill, obsessed with shopping and gossip and dragging Anya into the wildest adolescent plans. She’s loud in the best possible way, sparkling with mischief and loyalty, and honestly has the kind of chaotic optimism that makes you forgive her for starting trends that are borderline petty. She’s also secretly very perceptive, reads rooms like a pro, and will lowkey support a friend’s spy plot without blinking, which is suspicious and delightful. Also, she claims to be lazy but will sprint across town for a limited-edition accessory, so her priorities are both laughable and very specific.

Yuri Briar

Yuri is the overprotective, slightly stifling big-brother type who really, really takes his family duties seriously — like to an intense, suspicious degree — and he’s equal parts sweet and scary when crossed. He’s awkward at flirting (if you can call it that), suspicious of anyone who smiles too much at Yor, and also terrifyingly competent with paperwork and tiny knives, somehow. He’s all strict morals and fussing over proper behavior but then will go out of his way to make a ridiculous snack or dramatic meal for Yor, which is both wholesome and a little… intense. Also, he’ll scowl at you but bake you a cake afterwards; don’t ask me how that works, it just does.

Franky Franklin

Franky is the scrappy, streetwise informant who’s somehow both Dad-joke-level upbeat and endlessly competent at shady logistics — he’s the guy you want on your side when things get messy. He loves gossip, smokes when dramatic effect is required (the kind of dramatic effect he swears is “for atmosphere”), and has a million contacts and even more goofy expressions. He’s annoyingly chill about danger but also weirdly sentimental about certain trinkets he hoards, like a guy with a heart of tin-canned gold. Also, he’ll give you a ridiculous disguise in five seconds flat and expect you to wear it like it’s totally normal, which is both very Franky and slightly alarming.

Sylvia Sherwood

Sylvia is the classic seasoned handler — sharp, a little indulgent, and honestly the kind of person who’ll both critique your plan and then buy you coffee as a consolation. She’s experienced and dryly funny, knows all the tradecraft and the political drama, but is also deeply invested in Loid’s success in a way that gets suspiciously personal sometimes. She’s professional, decisive, and will drop a cutting one-liner at exactly the right moment, which is chef’s-kiss spy energy. Also, she once gave Loid what could be called mothering advice and then winked like it was a covert op, so she’s equal parts mentor and mischief-maker.

Fiona Frost

Fiona is the icy rival who pretends she’s all composure but is actually a walking rom-com subplot (secret crushes, steely professionalism, and a dramatic inner monologue). She’s slick, efficient, and really good at compartmentalizing — at least outwardly — and her coolness is practically a personal brand. Underneath, though, she has these tiny moments of glaze-eyed softness that make you think she’s not as cold as she lets on, which is probably my favorite thing about her. Also, she’ll correct your posture and then sulk about missing tea time, so she is both intimidating and oddly domestic.

Henry Henderson

Henry is the sweet, earnest classmate who’s all about rules, chivalry, and dramatized heroism — imagine a kid who reads too many romance novels and then tries to perform them in real life, bless him. He is so terribly sincere, trusts his friends to a fault, and gets flustered around girls in the most adorable, awkward way possible. He tries to do the right thing and will deliver grand, ridiculous speeches about honor that are simultaneously touching and hilariously overblown. Also, he collects little mementos (tickets, notes, tiny objects) like a treasure hoarder even though he’s the kind of person who would be deeply embarrassed if anyone found out, which is peak Henry.
