She’s haughty, insatiably curious, and loves a good debate or duel with equal passion; yes she hoards tomes and yes she might fluff your pillow afterward, but only because it was in a chapter about hospitality. She swings from scholarly to wildly smug to weirdly sentimental in the space of a jaunt across a library stack, and her obsession with information is both adorable and terrifying. Somehow both dangerously powerful and oddly maternal, like if a scholar-warrior adopted you just so she could lecture you on etiquette.

Schwi Dola

Schwi is the sweetest, most awkwardly logical android who doesn’t understand human nonsense but tries her absolute hardest (and it’s adorable and a little heartbreaking). She processes feelings like equations — methodical, polite, and utterly committed to learning empathy — which makes her both stoic and surprisingly tender; she likes tea and counting things and also quietly humming when she thinks nobody’s watching. There’s this whole cultured, precise air about her, and yet she’ll fumble a joke or get flustered by a hug, which is peak contrast. She’s the calm center amid chaos, but with a secret soft spot for messy human habits and, ironically, silly puns.

Stephanie Dola

Stephanie is loud, earnest, and gloriously dramatic in the best provincial way — mayoral energy, honestly, with a streak of stubbornness that could power a small village. She tries to be proper and in control, but is gloriously clumsy (like she’ll trip over diplomacy and then insist it was a test), and she genuinely wants to help people even when she’s out of her depth. She’s loyal, surprisingly brave, and has this comic tendency to explode into very specific plans that somehow mostly work; also, terrible puns and fatal baking attempts (seriously, don’t eat her cookies unless you like char). Under all the bluster there’s real courage and a soft, dependable heart.
