Okay, Maya is EVERYTHING — fierce princess-turned-warrior energy with a heart so huge it practically has its own zip code. She charges into danger, cries in the rain, and somehow still remembers everyone’s birthday (or maybe she forgets sometimes, who knows?). Brave, stubborn, wildly optimistic, and also prone to dramatic speeches that make you cheer and roll your eyes at the same time. Also, small detail: she collects tiny trinkets and will stop mid-battle to pick up a shiny pebble, which says a lot and also nothing at all.

Rico

Rico is that loud, lovable buddy who hits things really hard and then apologizes with a sheepish grin — the muscle with a surprisingly soft center. He’s loyal to the core, has terrible impulse control, tells dad jokes in the worst moments, and will defend his friends like it’s a personal mission. He claims to hate romance but will write really sappy notes in secret (or maybe he doesn’t, I can never tell). Also, he probably has a sock with a hole that he keeps intending to fix and never does, which somehow makes him human.

Chimi

Chimi is the squishy, chaotic chew-on-your-soul sidekick who’s mostly chaos and an alarming amount of wisdom for their size. Insanely loyal, a little reckless, definitely has opinions about hats, and might be more powerful than everyone suspects (or not, depends on the day). Oh, and they absolutely adore sparkly things but will pretend they’re above glitter — classic.

Picchu

Picchu gives “quiet-but-deadly” vibes with this whole underdog-warrior energy; calm on the outside, a blizzard of feelings underneath. They’re practical, a little grumpy sometimes (in the best way), and somehow the team’s unofficial planner even if they roll their eyes while doing it. Secretly a big softie for bedtime stories and naps, which is adorable and inconvenient during battle. Also, suspiciously good at little crafts — like, who knew? — and will always bring you a bandage and a weird compliment.

Chiapa

Chiapa is fierce, regal, and full of old-school honor — like a commander who can stare down an army and then knit a sweater for morale. She’s strategic, no-nonsense, and has that “I’ve seen things” look that makes everyone listen, but she also loves a ridiculous joke if it’s well-timed (don’t ask how I know). Protective of her people, stubborn in a way that’s admirable and slightly infuriating, and probably hums a lullaby when she thinks no one is watching. Also, may or may not have a secret collection of tiny teacups that she pretends are souvenir trophies.
