Meet the characters from Perfect World

Yun Xi

Yun Xi is this quietly intense presence who somehow anchors every scene without shouting — you just feel them. They’re composed, observant, and annoyingly good at reading people, but also forgets to eat sometimes (seriously, don’t let them skip lunch). There’s a soft, almost secretive kindness underneath all the calm, and they surprise you with sudden, very dramatic gestures once in a while. Also, they collect tiny porcelain teacups for reasons no one can explain, including Yun Xi.

Qing Yi (Yue Chan)

Qing Yi (Yue Chan) is a walking contradiction in the best way: playful, razor-sharp, and emotionally complicated, like a trickster with a heart. They’ll crack a joke one moment and drop something unexpectedly sincere the next — total mood swings but in a charming, chaotic way. Fiercely loyal, delightfully messy with personal space (papers everywhere), and utterly fearless when someone they care about is threatened. Oh and apparently they love sweets but will refuse a candy for dramatic effect, because yes, of course they would.

Shi Yi

Shi Yi gives off very structured, very precise vibes — the kind of person who plans for the plan — but secretly has a drawer full of mismatched socks and terrible poetry. Stoic on the surface, strategic in decisions, and ridiculously dependable when it matters, even if they act like they don’t care. They have a dry wit that sneaks up on you and a backstory that always makes you want to apologize immediately (for reasons). Also, they’re inexplicably afraid of fireworks and will claim it’s “professional” but everyone knows better.

Huo Linger

Huo Linger is absolute fire — impulsive, loud, fiercely protective, and somehow impossible to ignore. They charge into trouble with a grin and then spend three days apologizing, which is both endearing and exhausting for everyone involved. Underneath all the heat, there’s a really soft spot (for stray animals, old songs, and people who haven’t learned to stand up for themselves yet). Ridiculously contradictory detail: hates birds in theory but keeps a weird collection of feathers tucked in a sketchbook.

Shi Hao

Shi Hao is one of those calming, steady types who makes sense of other people’s chaos, often with an exasperated smile. Smart, reliable, a planner of plans, but also the kind of person who will suddenly drop everything to help someone at 3 a.m. Has a habit of carrying two watches for reasons they’ll never properly explain (time is important? sentimental? who knows). Even when they’re being practical, there’s a warm, slightly goofy charm that sneaks out — like someone who quotes philosophy and then knocks over their tea.
