Star Wars: Resistance is an animated television series created by Dave Filoni, with animation produced by Lucasfilm Animation. The series premiered on Disney Channel in October 2018 and concluded in January 2020 after two seasons. Set during the events of the sequel trilogy, the show follows Kazuda Xiono, a young pilot who is recruited by the Resistance to spy on the First Order. Along the way, he becomes friends with a diverse cast of characters, including the ace pilot Tam Ryvora, the mechanic Neeku Vozo, and the retired pilot-turned-cantina owner, Jarek Yeager. The series features a mix of new and familiar characters from the Star Wars universe, as well as new starships, creatures, and planets.
